Now, about 5 years ago, I had a negative impression of PLR and would not buy it, let alone create it.
That was mainly due to poor experiences buying sub-par content.
Short 400 word articles or badly written and out of date stuff.
Wrongly thinking it could damage your site.
Plus, not really knowing how to use it.
Now, I understand that PLR permeates all walks of life.
It’s simply content that you pay for that is crafted by a pro, and that you then have to the rights to use as your own.
And, so long as you actually know how to use it, you can save ridiculous amounts of time and money.
That is of course, so long as the PLR is good quality in the first place.
So, I decided one day to research crafting my own.

About 2 years ago, I surveyed my list.
Most of the people on my list had some interest in learning about video.
Many of them had joined Video Marketing Insider, my first membership site.
I asked if people would be interested in a monthly PLR club that had videos as part of the package.
I got nearly 300 replies and people overwhelmingly said yes and they would join.
Now, we all know what people say and then do is not the same thing.
Nevertheless, I was confident it would be popular, so long as I provided crazy value.
And after some research and asking in my (now closed) Facebook group, the name Video Content PLR was chosen and I set up the site.
The First Set Of PLR?
In my experience, when it comes to PLR content, 99% of vendors provide articles only.
Some sell Ebooks or social media images as either part of the packs or an upgrade.
And the few that sell video, well, I was shocked at the quality.
Power point presentations with huge amounts of text on the screen and boring delivery.
In short, the videos were there but punching yourself in the face would be more fun than sitting through them.
Anyhow, I set about creating the first pack.
As part of my survey was also on topics, I had a ton of ideas.
I went with financial planning and the first set was done.

Since that first set, I now produce two packs per month.
On the 17th, it’s a lifestyle related package
At the end of the month, a business related package.
It takes a LOT of hard work, research and cost to produce packs that meet my own high standards.
I could not sell anything I would not want to use for myself.

So, rather than try to be bigger, we try to be better.
Anyone could create the content we do, but it costs a minimum of $1000 per month.
And only as I make the videos myself, otherwise it’d cost more.
