Duplicate content with PLR content is a topic often talked about
Is it a legit worry though?
If you don’t have time to read the whole article, the correct response is NO!
Google will not penalize your site for content duplication just because you use content with private label rights (PLR).
There is so much uncertainty surrounding this topic that it isn’t even funny.
Thousands of PLR clients are worried that the Google boogeyman is going to punish their site before they even employ the PLR material.
Set your concerns aside.
Using PLR is entirely risk-free.

The Google Duplicate Penalty Myth
The duplicate content penalty is something you should be aware of.
If you take a single PLR blog piece and post it ten times on your site, you have duplicate content.
You’re probably wondering why people would do anything so insane.
The solution is easy to understand.
They are attempting to game the system.
They’ll come up with 10 different headlines for the same article and submit them all as blog posts.

The substance of the postings, on the other hand, will stay the SAME.
This is a case of overlapping.
They’re trying to rank in search engine results by throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Don’t do this.
It’s lazy, offers nothing to your readers and does not work.
The only thing that sticks most of the time is the duplicate content penalty that Google abruptly imposes on them.
PLR Articles and Duplicate Content: Common Sense Rules
Avoid attempting to defraud a multibillion-dollar corporation.
This isn’t going to work.
Your website might be banned.
You’ll be OK if you use PLR appropriately and only upload one content on your site once.
It is critical to keep your PLR material structured so that you do not unintentionally upload the same information again.
Using PLR is akin to using websites that post syndicated news items.
You will note that news from well-known news agencies, such as Reuters or the Associated Press, is displayed on thousands of websites online.
The substance is nearly same.
Nothing has been changed or updated.
Whether it is news, sports or entertainment, you can read literally the same story across multiple websites.
While each article must come from somewhere originally, the other websites do not get into trouble with Google.
There are no Google penalties.

Despite this, none of these sites are penalized because having the same content on many sites does not result in a duplication penalty switch.
Duplicate content is only penalized when it occurs repeatedly on the same website.
Hopefully, the words in bold will make the distinction clear.
You are free to utilize PLR material on your website.
It’s one of the best ways to quickly and easily populate your website.
How You Should Use Private Label Rights Content
If you want to rank for certain keywords, you should either produce new content targeting the keyword/s you want to rank for.
Or rewrite around 51-55 percent of your PLR piece and optimize it properly enough.
That way Google recognizes it as unique material and you have a chance or ranking it.
The issue with rating PLR material is that it will be used by several persons who purchased the same content.
While the majority of PLR purchasers never utilize the material they acquire, there are enough of them to compete with you.
Most of them will just copy and paste the PLR text as is, without making any changes.
Typically, Google will notice the first person to upload the PLR material.
Everyone after that will be irrelevant because Google has already taken note of the content.
This is why you must create a fresh title for the PLR article (extremely crucial)… and rework or repurpose approximately half of the material to make it unique.

Sprinkle relevant keywords throughout your writing, and include your own thoughts.
Make use of references where you can and link to them.
Insert quotation marks, images and a video if you can.
Edit the PLR articles as well if you see errors.
Sadly, some PLR content is poorly written 🙁
All of these will help to distinguish your material from the original PLR you acquired.
If you can get a few links referring to your new content, your chances of ranking in the search results will improve dramatically.
This is how you should utilize PLR to add material to your site while also ranking high in the search engines.
