These days, the term “sales funnel” is everywhere, and marketers tend to overcomplicate it.
ClickFunnels, for example, is a popular piece of software that’s often used to sell other products and rake in fees from affiliates.
Despite their full on marketing campaigns, no one ‘needs‘ ClickFunnels.
There are a lot of additional (and better) options out there, like ThriveCart, PayKickstart, and ClickBank for selling products and creating a sales funnel.
Before you rush off to figure them out, you should know what a sales funnel is.
What Does a Funnel Do Exactly?
A front-end product is what you see on a sales page when you visit a website.
You may be sent to an upgrade page after buying the front-end, where another product is for sale (also known as an upsell).
The upsell may redirect you to a different page, where you may purchase another (usually cheaper) item if you reject it.
A downsell is the term used to describe this transaction.
Otherwise, you’ll be sent to a download page where you may get your goods… or a page informing you that your order has been delivered if you declined it.
Essentially, this is the most basic of all of them.
When a customer upgrades or downsells, a marketer has the option of doing both.
You’ll get the impression that you’re sucked into a terrifying vortex and have no way to escape.
As effective as funnels are in generating revenue, using them incorrectly may anger your consumers and cause a rift between your company and your clients.
So let’s look at building a sales funnel with private label rights or PLR content.
The Product on the Front End
Now that you know what a funnel is, you can rename your ‘Biz-In-A-Box’ PLR product and utilize it as your front-end product when using PLR articles and content.

To make your main product stand out amongst the crowd, just change up the visuals.
Most consumers won’t be able to tell the difference.
Because they aren’t aware it’s PLR, they don’t give a fig about it.
They’re want the data that’s on the inside, not the outside.
The Addition of New Features
Upgrade pages may always be done with another ‘Biz In A Box (rebranded too).
Purchase the PLR from the same vendor or another one.
Using content from different PLR providers, as long as the products are of high quality, is OK.
It’s critical that your update has some connection to the product’s initial appeal.
As an example, if your front-end eBook was on a ketogenic diet, your update might be about getting six-pack abs or building muscle.
Reduction in weight is likely to pique people’s curiosity in looking like the Greek gods.

Your chances of closing the deal go up significantly if they’re in the market for what you have to offer.
You have to be aware of the viewpoint of the customer.
Upselling them is as easy as giving them more products that will help them accomplish their goals faster after you understand why they purchased what they did.
Just do not go overboard on the amount of upsells you have in your funnel.
No-one wants to spend ages stuck in a sales funnel while being presented with offer after offer.
Personally, I would say two is the max.
It is possible to provide audiobooks as a free upgrade to eBooks sold on the front end of your website, for example
Many people prefer to listen to audiobooks while driving than to read.
You may be able to charge a higher price for the audiobook if the production costs are higher and the perceived value is higher.
Message at the End
If someone wants to leave your website without making a purchase, you could provide an exit popup to capture their email address.
This happens all the time.
A free gift could be offered in exchange for providing their email address in the pop-up.
If you’re selling a book, the gift might be anything like a short report or the first two chapters.
It doesn’t matter where we are right now.
Enticing the prospect to join your email list should be your sole goal.

If you want to use the lead magnet again, you may use PLR to create it.
They will be exposed to your offer on a frequent basis when you follow up with them through email and provide added value to them.
After a few communications, they’ll be less resistant and more likely to purchase your products.
The Access Pages – Where content is Delivered
Post purchase, your client needs to be able to access their purchase.
This can be a simple download page or a full on membership site that is password protected.
You can present one or two more things they may like to buy on these pages so long as it’s something relevant.
In video Content PLR, we do not do this as we provide you with everything from day one.
Here’s a snapshot of a delivery page inside the elite club.

If you do have a sales funnel though, It’s also a good idea to add a link to the upgrading pages if you have them.
Even if a customer just purchases the front end, they may be so pleased with the product that they decide to purchase the remainder of the funnel as well.
By providing them with this upgrade link, you’ll be able to help them finish the game and make extra money.
Other possible options include:
- affiliate links to tools and services you like and that can help your customers
- offering a paid membership
- Offering extra products with resale rights or master resale rights
Summary
Creating a sales funnel with PLR is an incredibly straightforward procedure if you’ve mastered the art of it.
Just connect the sales and downsell sites together.
And then send the client to the download page once payment is made.
So now you know the basics of how to build a sales funnel With PLR.
