How Will The Rise of AI Affect Private Label Rights Content?

AI and PLR

AI tools have become all the rage recently.

It seems every content writer and content creator who is telling you to use AI to do all your article marketing.

So, let’s delve into this topic and then tie it in with PLR.

Be sure to have read our article about what PLR is, to ensure you have a clear understanding first.

What is AI Generated Content?

AI generated content is material, such as writing or imagery, created by artificial intelligence based on human input, including keywords, phrases, and topics.

This content can be found in various forms, like blogs, articles, product descriptions, and marketing materials (TechTarget).

As with any technological advancement, it’s essential to consider the ethics and limitations of AI generated content.

The Ethics of AI generated content

As you dive into the world of AI generated content, it’s crucial to think about the ethical implications.

While AI can save time and resources, it’s important to acknowledge that its capabilities can be abused.

Plagiarism could become an issue, as AI might unintentionally reproduce or closely mimic existing content.

Ensuring that AI-created content is genuine and ethically sourced should be a top priority.

Another ethical concern is the potential for AI-generated content to perpetuate biased or discriminatory language or ideas.

You must be cautious and diligent about the training data and the algorithms used to create content to avoid perpetuating harmful biases.

Ai content

I use AI tools quite regularly.

Ones such as:

+ Chat GPT 4 (both on Open AI and another tool)

+ Quillbot

+ Jasper at times

+ Midjourney (art)

To name but a few.

They are all impressive in their own right.

And all have flaws too.

These days though, CHAT GPT is what most people are talking about.

Chat GPT

I use ChatGPT 4 and with it, anyone can ask it to write an article on a topic and within a minute you can have something ready.

If you train it with prompts, and get an article outline first, you can get something of decent length.

Though generally speaking you need time and effort to get really decent length articles.

What is AI

Here are the problems though:

1. ChatGPT can give different answers to the same question if you ask it more than once.

This is because it doesn’t have a set of core beliefs and values.

Instead, it reacts to human inputs based on a complicated mix of its training data and its own, mathematically formulated goal.

Because of these things, it also has a lot of biases, so you shouldn’t believe its answers without carefully checking them.

2. The answers are not up to date.

Many AI tools only go up to 2021.

None are 100% up to date.

So, you are getting information that might not be true anymore.

3. It can be plain wrong.

I used it to tell me some information about a tourist attraction here in Japan and it got it all wrong.

fake news

From placing one temple in a different city to talking about an amusement park that closed down and now ceases to exist.

If I did not live in Japan and know this, I could have used this and misled my readers.

Luckily I did not use this and decided that AI was not suitable for what I wanted in this case

Abusing AI

This is where most marketers cause problems.

They are not subject matter experts.

And are more than happy to publish what AI provides as it’s the easy lazy way.

I mean…

I can go into Chat GPT and ask it to write an article on Intermittent Fasting and I’ll get one.

But is it factually correct?

I have way of knowing and I am not an expert on the matter.

I do not want to be potentially spreading false information personally.

PLR to the rescue

So, this is where PLR can help (in my case).

We use subject matter experts to both research content and write it.

Not for SEO or to sell some affiliate offer.

But to provide REAL value to the reader.

What you can do is get AI to paraphrase the PLR you get (change the wording a little but retain the core meaning).

QuillBot Banner

Maybe add a few of your own sentences in and you’ll have a new article.

Even better, get AI to write an FAQ section.

Or perhaps a sexier title or meta description for your post.

Maybe get it to write some copy for a social media post that will get more people to click through to your article.

Even craft a story that can segue into a message that encourages people to click to read.

Just be sure whatever you add with AI is both factually accurate and up to date.

Isn’t All Marketing Stories Though?

Marketing is all about telling a story people can believe in.

storytelling

Telling stories that people can believe is the key to good marketing.

George Riedel, who has been making glass for ten generations, gets this idea.

His business makes things out of glass, and his wine glasses are very famous.

He says that each wine has its own “message” that is communicated through the glass it is drunk from.

Riedel’s story is a real winner.

Even though scientific tests have shown that his glasses are the same as others, wine experts and fans from all over the world say that wine tastes better when served in a Riedel glass.

That’s how marketing works.

It can change how a drink tastes.

Although we all know it does not really.

Which begs the question.

Where do you draw the line between  a story and a flat out lie?

On YouTube, people seem to prefer the lies as this is what makes them sales.

Many YouTubers teach things like:

Using AI to write reviews (by default a review is your own personal experience).

But then surely it is NOT a review.

reputation

For a real, ethical review, you need real pics, data.

The other day I saw a Video showing a guy getting Chat GPT 4 to write a review on a software

A machine written piece is not a review.

The content created is just a mix of what is already out there.

And as such, could be factually incorrect or biased.

Chat GPT in itself is fine, but many users are using it to spread misinformation to make a sale.

Sadly, these videos get lots of traction.

Because, it appeals to the lazy and unethical as lesswork is involved.

Why not actually review the product yourself, make a real video (not some fake AI voice) and use real photos and case studies?

If you do this for evergreen offers, you’ll not only do better long term but you can sleep well at night too knowing you have given your honest opinion.

Anyhow…

Where is PLR in all this?

Well, let’s say you buy a Video Content PLR Club membership.

You do what most will not.

You consume it AND implement.

Then a few weeks or months later, you write about your results, your experiences.

You share screenshots and make a video.

YOU (not AI) compile a real review that is 100% you.

Sure, get AI to write a title and meta description if you want.

Even get AI to write an ad for social media to drive traffic to your review if needed.

Or a headline for an email to your list to share

the review.

Now, if you like the product, you can recommend it in your review.

Use your affiliate link and get a commission if you make a sale.

Promote PLR as an Affiliate

To sweeten the pot, you might need to provide a bonus.

Truthfully, I do not think bonuses should be needed, but fact is, buyers go bonus shopping.

So, why not use this PLR article as part of it?

We have PLR videos on tons of topics you could use.

You can rebrand it as your own too so it’s unique.

Now, anyone who buys via you can be put on a new list.

And you could create a simple newsletter and offer that to them. $4,97 per month.

Really are so many ways to make PLR work.

AI can help with some tasks if you just use it right.

Before You Go

PLR materials are here to stay

Used right they can help generate business and make passive income

Just ensure that whatever plr products you have, you add your own voice, and add your own unique insights either manually or with the use of AI tools.

Then run a thorough plagiarism check, ensure you have not broken any PLR rights.

Do this and you can use your quality PLR products and just make them better by using AI the right way.
